PRICING
Crayon is priced in three tiers. Core covers a small team with bookings, scheduling, customers, checklists, invoicing and payments. Growth adds AI configuration of the software itself and an AI front desk. Custom covers multi-location and franchise operations. All prices include tax and are shown in US, New Zealand or Australian dollars.
The proven core, set up the standard way.
The core, configured to your business by AI.
For multi-location and franchise operations.
Tax is included in every price shown. New Zealand and Australian invoices show the GST component separately so you can claim it on your return. There is no setup fee, and configuration is part of onboarding rather than a professional-services line.
Day-to-day use costs nothing extra. Asking about tomorrow's schedule, rescheduling a job, chasing invoices, messaging customers. That's run mode, it's part of the core plan, and it isn't counted.
Credits are only spent when you change the platform itself: renaming something across the system, adding a field, switching a rule on. Each change is priced in credits and the number is shown before you confirm. Decline it and nothing is charged.
Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, which covers the settling-in period when most businesses do their adjusting. Requests too large for change mode come back as a priced ticket with a fixed quote you approve separately.
INCLUDED, NOT UPSOLD
Worth checking against anything else you're comparing, because these are the line items that move a quoted price after you've signed.
Getting the vocabulary, pricing rules and job fields matching your business is part of joining, not a separate onboarding fee.
Running under your own name and address is standard, not a premium tier.
Customers rebooking and paying themselves is included, because it saves you the admin.
Timestamped photo evidence on every job, with no cap on how many you store.
Improvements ship to the core and reach you at once. There's no version you have to upgrade onto.
Export your customers, jobs and invoices whenever you want, including on the way out.
QUESTIONS
No. Crayon is billed monthly and you can cancel at the end of any month. There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Your data is exportable at any point, including after you cancel.
No. Core covers up to five team members and Growth up to fifteen, both at a flat monthly price. You move tier when your team outgrows the one you're on, not per person. Customers using your portal are never counted as users.
You move up a tier and keep the same environment, the same data and the same configuration. Core to Growth is a billing change, not a migration, and Growth to Custom is the same. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is exported and re-imported.
Run mode is included in the core plan with no usage cap: asking about your schedule, rescheduling jobs, drafting customer messages and chasing invoices. Change mode, which alters the software itself, uses credits and is priced per change before you confirm it.
Yes, up or down, month to month. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down applies from your next billing date. Nothing is deleted when you move down. Features you're no longer paying for are switched off, not removed.
Yes. Your customers, jobs, photos and invoices belong to your business and sit in your own database in your own environment. Crayon does not sell it, does not market to your customers and does not share it with other businesses on the platform.
Every price on this page includes tax. Nothing is added at checkout. New Zealand and Australian invoices break out the GST component separately, so you can still claim it on your return if you're registered.
The list price is set in US dollars. NZD and AUD figures on this page are shown for comparison. Whether your card is charged in US dollars or your local currency is being finalised. Ask on the demo and you'll get the current answer.
Twenty minutes. Tell us your team size and what you need switched on, and you'll leave with a firm monthly figure.
