Every Crayon customer runs on the same core software in their own isolated environment. Setup configures the vocabulary, pricing rules, job fields, workflows and enabled modules to match how that business operates. The core is maintained and improved centrally, so configuration never means being left behind on updates or security.
THE PROBLEM
A cleaning company, a plumbing firm and a physio clinic all get the same screens, the same words and the same rules, and each one is expected to adapt. So they work around it: a spreadsheet here, a group chat there, a field called something nobody uses. Crayon starts from one proven core too. The difference is that the core is configured to the business, not the other way round.

A business at month twelve does not run the way it did at month one. Crayon's built-in AI adjusts wording, labels and settings on request, and shows you the change before it applies. Bigger requests come back as a priced ticket with a quote rather than a dead end.

When a business is configured, nothing is forked or copied. The settings are stored as data against that business, and the software reads them. That distinction is the whole reason Crayon is packaged software rather than a development project, and it's what protects you.
New features ship to the core, so they reach every business at once. No one is stranded on an old version because their setup was unusual.
Patches, audits and dependency updates are done once, centrally, and apply to every environment on the platform.
A bug found by one business is fixed for all of them. You are not waiting for someone to schedule work on your copy.
Because configuration is data, it can be changed, logged and rolled back. Changing your mind costs a setting, not a rebuild.
