What actually happened

Launch27 was renamed Automaid in May 2026. Same product, same owner, Fullsteam Software Holdings.
The stated direction is heavier automation: software where owners log in to see how the business did rather than to run it.
Automaid’s own pricing page does not mention the Launch27 name, while its login link still points at launch27.com.
Published plans are $75, $150 and $299 a month.

That is the factual position. If it still suits you, stay on it. The rest of this page is for people the new direction does not suit.

AFTER A RENAME

Why people look for an alternative after a rename

The product is being pointed somewhere you were not planning to go.
You were already working around parts of it, and a rename is a natural moment to reconsider.
Pricing moved, or the plan you need moved up a tier.
You want to know your software will still be the same product in two years.

THE DIFFERENCE

The difference is what happens when it does not fit.

Every product on this page is a fixed shape. Where it matches how you work, it works well. Where it does not, you change how you work, pay a developer, or bolt on another tool. Crayon is the proven core for bookings, customers and payments, and the AI changes it when you ask. Rename what things are called. Add the field every job has to carry. Change what a button says.

OUTGROWING IT

Signs you have outgrown Automaid

Automation is only worth having on a process that is actually yours.

The automations are automating a workflow you would change if you could.
You are on Pro purely to get your own branding on the booking form.
Your service model needs a field, a rule or a step the product does not have.
You are running a second service line inside a maid service shape.
Integrations are doing work that should be one system doing it once.

Automating the wrong process makes the wrong process faster. Crayon starts by making the process right: you ask for the change, review exactly what it will do, and approve it. Then it runs.
